Alaska Regional Training

Training Breakdown:

• Assessment of existing project management capabilities.
• Translating council and department vision and strategy into projects and grants.
• Initiation steps including team creation, stakeholder assessment and risk and resource management.
• Design phase including project kick-off, Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), gantt chart creation, critical path and communication planning.
• Tracking project plans utilizing technology.
• Execution includes focusing on decision making, communication and coordination of the project team.
• Assessment entails final acceptance, documentation, evaluating and identifying lessons learned.

Participants are invited to bring their projects to the work session and walk away with detailed project plans. They will also have access to a learning library and coaching for ongoing project development.
